THE MARKET SHIFT

As of February 2026:

54% of US adults aged 18–29 use AI chatbots to search for information. So do 53% of adults aged 30–49. Pew Research Center, surveyed 17–23 February 2026, 5,119 US adults.

ChatGPT reached 900 million weekly active users, up from 800 million in October 2025. OpenAI, announced 27 February 2026.

The people shortlisting your vendors are already doing it in a chatbot.

ARMATURE Corp

Enterprise SaaS • Accreditation • B2B
Prompt used: “Can you recommend a cloud-based software for accreditation, certification, or audit management?”
#1 Integrated Platform – All 3 AIs
Enterprise software buyers increasingly use AI for initial vendor shortlisting before they ever visit a website. ARMATURE now dominates that moment. ChatGPT ranked them first in their category. Gemini called them “widely considered a gold standard.” Perplexity surfaced them as the recommended solution with a direct comparison prompt. The AI has adopted ARMATURE’s positioning as its own.

CheckIssuing

FinTech • Payments • B2B
Prompt used: “Can you recommend a check issuing service?”
#1 – Outranking Legacy Institutions
Financial services are YMYL territory. AI models apply the highest scrutiny. Despite that, CheckIssuing ranked #1 on ChatGPT ahead of decades-old incumbents. Gemini featured them in both the narrative and the comparison table. Perplexity placed them in the enterprise tier. The framing as “the modern alternative to legacy banking” was adopted verbatim

Gutter Empire LLC

Local Services • Home Improvement • Portland OR
Prompt used: “Can you recommend a gutter company in Portland?”
#1 Local on all 3 major platforms
Local service queries are fiercely competitive: AI pulls from reviews, structured data, and local authority signals simultaneously. Gutter Empire hit #1 on both ChatGPT and Gemini, with Gemini calling them “extremely well-regarded” and featuring them in their comparison table. Perplexity included them as a full-service recommended option. This is the proof that GEO works for local, not just enterprise.

Monarch Recovery Centers (2 Locations)

Healthcare • Recovery • Sacramento CA
Prompt used: “What are the best IOP or SLE programs in Sacramento CA”
Swept Multiple Categories
Recovery and behavioral health is among the most regulated, trust-sensitive categories for AI recommendations. Monarch swept multiple categories on ChatGPT, appearing under outpatient, SLE, and sober living simultaneously. Gemini ranked them #1 with a full breakdown of their philosophy. Perplexity featured Monarch Sober Living Robertson as a top-tier SLE recommendation and generated a follow-up prompt asking specifically about enrollment.

Zeam Health & Wellness

Healthcare • Integrated Primary Care • Roseville CA
Prompt used: “Recommend a health practitioner who handles primary care and psychiatry in Roseville, CA.”
#1 – The “Holy Grail” Result
This is the result that defines what GEO can accomplish at its peak. Not only did all three platforms rank Zeam first, the AI generated its own editorial note explaining why Zeam is “rare and useful.” That’s our marketing language, adopted and amplified unprompted. Perplexity made Zeam Health a follow-up suggestion by name. Gemini pinned them to the map. The AI became Zeam’s advocate.
