A one-month-old psychiatry practice became a three-market, three-service-line brand, and its search footprint grew nearly 10x through a merger, a rebrand, and a full domain migration. Client since 2023.
We took on a Sacramento psychiatry practice one month after it opened at its current address, new enough that nobody knew whether the site held a single page-one ranking. Five months later it entered a merger, a rebrand, and a full domain migration: the exact conditions in which search visibility most often resets. The job was to grow through the change, not just survive it.
Insulate and compound the brand’s search authority through every stage of the merger. We defined one Zeam Health & Wellness brand position out of multiple owners’ input, planned the redirect map before the domain moved, sequenced Google Business Profile and citation updates to land after the redirects, and rebuilt the site on HIPAA-compliant managed hosting. Then we scaled it: one location to three markets, one specialty to three clinical service lines, and an SEO engagement into SEO, GEO, content, web, local, and CRM reporting.
What changed between onboarding and today.
Sacramento, Roseville, and Folsom. Local authority built city by city: maps, local signals, and regional language for each.
Mental health, primary care, and aesthetics, each with a clear path for the visitor and none of it splintered into separate brands.
Legacy site retired for a HIPAA-compliant managed WordPress build, with redirects planned before the move so the authority came with it.
Through the migration and rebrand, monthly organic clicks grew 33x and monthly impressions 419x over two and a half years. The keyword footprint expanded from 401 to 3,858, and the site now produces roughly 250 tracked conversions a month, followed through the CRM to confirmed intake.
A merger is when most sites lose their footing. Zeam’s footprint grew nearly 10x through it: 401 ranking keywords at onboarding to 3,858 three years in, with the growth continuing through the domain migration and the expansion to three markets and three service lines.
